I was hungry and this was the closest restaurant. But didn't have to regret this choice. Ordered the dish of the day - Bigoli Carbonara with zucchini. It was definitely the best Carbonara I've had since I came to Italy. Yes, waiting time was long but I was compensated with a small plate of charcuterie whiles waiting. That too was delicious. Service was also impeccable and i felt very welcome.

Luckily we hadn’t seen all the negative reviews prior to going in, otherwise may not have. The food we had was delicious. The tortelli burrata with smoked whitefish was just fantastic along with prawn salad and tiramisu dessert. The house Pinot Grigio also very nice. The service was a little comical. I assume the owner, who initially served us, was on the rude side and a bit dismissive, but it was oddly entertaining. We had a laugh about it. After a short period a woman took over and she was very pleasant. We would go back again.

Don’t understand all the bad reviews. Waiters were friendly and swift. We ordered from the daily menu. Th Risotto frutti di mare was perfectly al dente. The plate full of vongole, blue mussels and gamberi. Also the Fiorentina was chargrilled to medium rare as ordered, second only to Benitos in Tuscany.

We went without a reservation, and the staff were very polite and welcoming. The tagliatelle with mushrooms were fantastic, and the Capricciosa pizza was thin and delicious. The food arrived hot and without any delay — everything was perfect!
